Europe’s largest science outreach event, the European Researchers’ Night, takes place on 27 September 2024. Universities and research institutes across 23 countries will open their doors to the public, showcasing 47 projects through presentations, experiments, games, and discussions. This event attracts over 1.5 million visitors annually, promoting excellent research and increasing the interest of young people in science and research careers. All events are free and open to everyone.
Researchers at Schools: Available throughout the year, this initiative brings scientists into classrooms and students into laboratories. Aimed at primary and secondary school pupils, it fosters the development of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills and demonstrates the practical relevance of their education. Activities include lab visits, planetarium nights, summer schools, and more.
