Recycling is becoming an international challenge for the economic competition that uses materials. The treatment of waste materials requires new processes and new education because the knowledge of the deconstruction of complex multilayer materials has become much more complicated than expected. The Material Recycling and Circular Economy workshop has the objective of identifying important fields of development in agreement with the EC policy and introducing new knowledge with industrial developments.

The European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) workshop on material recycling and circular economy, co-organized by EUMAT, will be held on Wednesday, September 21^st, 2022, in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the E-MRS fall meeting.
